"Hasta la vista" is one of Bob Nolan's Spanish-flavoured songs. Bob had moved to Tucson when he was 13 years old and he went to school in classrooms where over half the students spoke Spanish. He became fluent, according to Wayne Perryman. In later years he enjoyed visiting Lloyd Perryman's mother-in-law so they could converse in that liquid tongue.

Bob had "Hasta la vista" registered for copyright on April 17, 1957, so it may be one of the songs he wrote after he retired in 1949.

We do not have any sheet music for this song.

This recording was made by RCA Victor on March 18, 1957 by the Sons of the Pioneers with the solo taken by Bob himself. It was released as a 45rpm recording and it was included on a long-playing record called "Westward Ho!", a 1961 album that is very hard to find today.
